Introduction to Ventilating Ventilating is an essential skill in wig making, allowing you to customize and create bespoke hairpieces tailored to specific needs. It involves meticulously tying individual hairs into a wig foundation so you can build and customize wigs. Terminology and Tools: Learn the vocabulary essential to wig making and familiarize yourself with the tools of the trade, including ventilating needles, holders, and specialty tweezers. Choosing Lace: Understand the different types of lace available and their suitability for various projects, ensuring you select the right lace for your needs. Hair Types: Differentiate between human and synthetic hair, discovering the advantages and considerations for each when ventilating. Hands-on Ventilating: Practice the art of ventilating under expert guidance, gaining confidence in tying hairs onto wig foundations. Target Audience: This class caters to beginners with no prior ventilating experience, as well as individuals seeking more hands-on training to refine their techniques. Materials Provided: All necessary materials for the class are included, ensuring you have everything you need to start ventilating right away.


Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel the class, there will be a $50 non-refundable fee charged or you can transfer the cost of your class to another class taught by Annie Hardt and The Caged Wig Instructors. This does not include guest artist classes.
