New Las Vegas Wig Classes!
In 2026, we will be doing a full week of education in March, June, and October!
You can choose the individual classes or register for the full week!
What will we learn in Wig Week?!
Day 1 (Monday)- Learn how to do a variety of wig preps for different hair types and how to pin and glue down lace front wigs. While you're in wig prep, we'll also take a head tracing to create a custom wig block
Day 2 (Tuesday)- Learn how to wash and sanitize wigs, clean makeup and glue off of lace, block lace front wigs, and do a variety roller sets to create different styles.
Day 3 (Wednesday)- Learn how to brush your roller set into classic Hollywood waves and a variety of styling techniques to create vintage and modern hairstyles, including how to secure them into place for live entertainment.
Day 4 (Thursday)- Learn to hand tyie individual hairs onto lace wigs. We'll cover the different types of knots, different types of lace, and customizing hairlines.
Day 5 (Friday)- Free day! For everyone doing the full week, this is a relaxed day to work on anything you need a little extra time with and to talk about all things wigs that we weren't able to cover earlier in the week.
Day 6 (Saturday)- Learn how to build two different wig cages! We'll start with the introductory dome shaped cage and then use those techniques to sculpt a pair of horns!
Day 7 (Sunday)- Learn a variety of styling techniques to design your caged wig. We will practice sculpted waves, natural curls, securing your hair to the cage, and so much more!

What level of experience is needed for the classes?
All levels are welcome to take these classes. The first four classes are geared towards beginners but can be a great refresher for people in the industry. The caged wig classes are also broken down into easy to follow steps so anybody can do it!

Materials you will need to bring - Nothing! Everything you need to participate in the classes is provided for you. You are of course welcome to bring any tools, products, wigs, or accessories you want.

Where is the class located? The classes are at The Caged Wig Studio in Las Vegas. The address is 3230 E Charleston Blvd Unit 104 Las Vegas, NV 89104.

What time is the class? The classes are scheduled from 10am-5pm everyday.
​
Will food be provided? There is coffee, tea, water, and snacks throughout the day but lunch will not be provided. There is a fridge and microwave for you to bring your own lunch, you can go out for lunch, or have food delivered.
